"GREEN IS THE NEW BLACK" - HURTIGRUTEN PROMOTES GREENLAND WITH
FREE NORWEGIAN COASTAL VOYAGE VACATIONS AND SPECIAL T-SHIRT FOR TRAVEL AGENTS

New York, May 2009 -- "Green is the New Black" is Hurtigruten's new credo as it continues to promote Greenland as the best destination for travelers interested in gaining firsthand experience on global warming and the importance of safeguarding our planet's environment. Travel agents booking three cabins on a Greenland cruise (or any of the company's other 2009 products: Norwegian Coastal Voyage, Spitsbergen or Antarctica) by June 30, 2009, earn their own relaxing six- or seven-day cruise vacation along Norway's spectacular fjord-filled west coast, and the company's new "Green is the New Black" t-shirt after one booking. And Hurtigruten makes it easy to get those bookings, offering a host of Greenland specials: lowering prices by 25%, adding free hotel nights, offering single occupancy at no extra charge and special group rates, and reducing the starting fare of the company's exclusive 18-day Greenland to New York City sailing to $4,249 per person, double. A special June 23rd departure of its 12-day Greenland voyage has the added perk of traveling with Dr. David Holland, the director of the Center for Atmosphere-Ocean Science (CAOS), an expert on climate change.

Other specials include the company's "Interest-free Payment Plan", good on all cruises; Free Air and Shore Excursions, Norwegian Value Packages, 2 For 1 Special, 25% Plus Free Hotel, No Supplement Single Cabins; Expedition Extravaganza; and Antarctica's 25% Off Suites Plus Free International Air.

The agent's six- or seven-day cruise must be taken between Oct. 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010 and is in addition to Hurtigruten's generous commission rates. Agents take in 34 ports along the scenic route between the charming Hanseatic port Bergen and Kirkenes, above the Arctic Circle - ranging from small fishing villages in the rugged Lofoten Islands to the busy city of Tromso, inhabited since the end of the ice age, to Alesund, with its Art Nouveau architecture.

Bookings with deposits must be made between April 21 and June 30, 2009 to be eligible. The free stateroom may be used by travel agents employed by an agency with an active CLIA or IATA membership, on select departures; is not valid for group bookings; and is non-transferrable. The cruise tariff will be waived but additional taxes and surcharges may apply. Offer becomes valid when qualified books are paid in full (booking only is required by June 30 for eligibility). A maximum of three cabins may be earned per agency.

Agents interested in sharpening their Greenland knowledge are invited to join the Hurtigruten Academy, the company's online education program, at www.hurtigrutenacademy.com. Brochures, further information or assistance from a Hurtigruten Sales Representative is available at 800-323-7436, or by clicking the "Travel Agents" link on www.hurtigruten.us and signing in.
