TRAVEL AGENTS EARN FREE NORWEGIAN COASTAL VOYAGE VACATIONS FROM HURTIGRUTEN
WHEN BOOKING THREE CABINS -- "SELL & SAIL" PROGRAM RUNS THROUGH JUNE 30, 2009

New York, May 2009 -- Travel agents get to relax aboard a modern Hurtigruten ship for a six- or seven-day cruise between Oct. 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010 along Norway's spectacular fjord-filled west coast -- for free -- if they book three cabins by June 30, 2009 on any of the company's 2009 products -- Norwegian Coastal Voyage, Spitsbergen, Greenland or Antarctica. The ships explore 34 ports along the scenic route between the charming Hanseatic port Bergen and Kirkenes, above the Arctic Circle - ranging from small fishing villages in the rugged Lofoten Islands to the busy city of Tromso, inhabited since the end of the ice age, to Alesund, with its Art Nouveau architecture. The free agent cruise is in addition to Hurtigruten's generous commission rates. And to pave the way to make it easier to get those bookings, Hurtigruten is offering a litany of consumer specials (these offers cannot be combined) including the company's Layaway Getaway Plan, which is good on all cruises; Norway's Free Air and Shore Excursions, Norwegian Value Packages, 50% Cruise Only Pricing, 2 For 1 Special, 25% Plus Free Hotel, No Supplement Single Cabins; Greenland's 25% Off Plus Free Hotel, Expedition Extravaganza; and Antarctica's 25% Off Suites Plus Free International Air. Bookings with deposits must be made between April 21 and June 30, 2009 to be eligible.

All Cruises Special:
  • "Layaway Getaway" - passengers booking any May-through-December 2009 departure can make monthly, no-interest payments – and can still cancel with a 100% refund up to 70 days before departure.

Norwegian Coastal Voyage Specials:
  • "Free Air and Shore Excursions" - Select seven- and 12-day sailings between May 1 and August 31 include free roundtrip air from New York and two or three free shore excursions, based on cruise length.
  • "50% Cruise Only Pricing" - Select six- and seven-day sailings, departing May 1 through June 15 are priced at 50% off standard rates - with discounted fares ranging from $929 to $2,014 per person, double occupancy.
  • "Two Sail for the Price of One" - companions sail free on selected six-, seven- and 12-day voyages departing September through December 2009. Normal cruise fares range from $1,409 to $4,029, per person, double, saving two passengers sharing a cabin $705 to $2,014 each.
  • "Norwegian Coastal Value Package" - a new all-inclusive option - air, hotel, cruise and transfers - saves clients money and makes it easy to book as a one-stop shop. Applies to peak-season departures between May and September and converts the six-, seven- and 12-day cruises into nine- and 14-day cruise-tours.
  • "25% Off and Free Hotel Nights in Bergen" - guests sailing from May through August save 25% off standard cruise fares - and receive one or two free hotel nights in Bergen depending on length of cruise.
  • "No Supplement Single Cabins" - travelers preferring to sail solo from Oct. through Dec. receive a single stateroom at the per person double rate, paying no single supplement - a savings of 25%.

Greenland Specials:
  • "25% Off Plus Free Hotel" - select 11- and 18-day summer sailings along the stunning scenic coast of Greenland are being offered with savings of 25% off standard fares and two free hotel nights in Copenhagen.
  • "Greenland Expedition Extravaganza" - A first time event is being offered with substantial savings and an all-inclusive approach. After sailing along the coast of Greenland with several stops, the world's newest expedition ship, MS Fram, journeys Canada's maritime provinces, and along the U.S.'s eastern seaboard, ending in New York City. Prices range from $4,249 to $7,249 per person, double and includes air, hotel in Copenhagen, cruise and all taxes, surcharges and fees.

Antarctica Specials:
  • "25% Savings on Suites + Free Air For Antarctica" - adventurers receive 25% off suite fares plus free air from NY and FL if when booking a November or December 2009 departure. Reduced fares start at $6,577 per person, double.

The free stateroom may be used by travel agents employed by an agency with an active CLIA or IATA membership, on select departures between October, 2009 and March, 2010; is not valid for group bookings; and is non-transferrable. The cruise tariff will be waived but additional taxes and surcharges may apply. Offer becomes valid when qualified books are paid in full (booking only is required by June 30 for eligibility). A maximum of three cabins may be earned per agency.
