Packed with sights and experiences, this independent vacation is the very best way to tour Norway. Arrive in Oslo and soak in its cosmopolitan culture. Then fly to Kirkenes, an Arctic outpost near the Russian border, to board Hurtigruten for a southbound cruise. During your Norwegian holiday cruise, revel in stunning scenery and learn more about Norway's culture. Your journey ends in the charming, ancient port of Bergen, with an entire day free to wander its cobblestone streets.

Norwegian Holiday Cruises Depart Daily, Year Round

Your Norwegian Holiday Cruise Itinerary Includes:

Day 1: Depart the U.S.
This evening, embark on your transatlantic flight to Oslo.

Day 2: Oslo
Arrive at Oslo Airport; transfer by train to downtown Oslo. You have the rest of the day free to explore the city's cultural sights.

Day 3: Oslo
Another day at leisure to visit the city's world-class museums and shops using your Oslo Card. [B]

Day 4: Oslo-Kirkenes
After breakfast, transfer to Oslo Airport for your flight to Kirkenes, north of the Arctic Circle, where you will embark your Norwegian Coastal Voyage ship. [B]

Days 5-8: Norwegian Coastal Voyage
Your Norwegian holiday cruise sails from Kirkenes to Hurtigruten's southernmost port, Bergen. Experience the Lofoten Islands, the Trollfjord, Tromso, Trondheim, and Alesund along the way. [B/L/D]

Day 9: Disembarkation Bergen
Disembark from your ship, and transfer to your hotel. The afternoon you will have to explore this charming old city. [B/L]

Day 10: Bergen
You have the whole day to sightsee. Visit the lively flower and fish markets, or travel out of town to see Troldhaugen, former home of Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg and now a museum.

Day 11: Depart Bergen.
Arrive in the U.S. [B]

- Select cabin and three meals daily on ship
- Port fees
- The Oslo Card
- The Bergen Card
- Train transfer between Oslo Airport and Oslo Central or the National Theater
- Bus transfers in Bergen from the ship to the hotel.
